The Sea, the Sky and the Sunset...

(A diary of a forbidden love...)

As he wandered through the waves of the sea,
Was a wonderful feeling he longed to be…
They splattered, crashed within his heart
He’s left alone, not knowing where to start.

She danced. She cherished all his bluebells up,
She sang so her voice could reach the skies above.
He smiled with his birds all chirping
He blew her his kiss, so gentle yet breath-taking.

It’s a wonder when both worlds apart
Loved each other’s soul and heart;
The clouds so proud; the waves so might,
Together it carpentered one glorious life.

Her ridge of current was an unalterable love;
His nimbus chambers were serene, pure as dove.
It seemed so near yet very far.
She wept in still waters, while he cried all the dead stars.

How he wish he could be her armor forever
Her shield amidst the storms that shattered;
He always hoped he could be by her side for better
But every splash, every breath was a promise of NEVER.

How she longed to be his one and only princess
The one he dreamt about every minute, every second
But his dashing breeze told it wasn’t so right
To love someone like him, and it cut like a knife.

Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds?
A love that was enduring, genuine despite the scars and wounds.
A thwarted romance that survived the test of time…
And a long-lasting love of all the ladies and knights.

“My love for you will never run dry...”
He replied, “My love, you’ll always be my stars in every night.”
Now, I rested with shadows; and sure, for the rest of their lives,
They’ll always be that inseparable bond that never dies.
